GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Ohio native Emma Brown of Zanesville, Ohio on the purchase of the gorgeous gelding Ur Ride Has Arrived (Thomas). This talented all-around gelding was owned by Emma Gore of Croton, Ohio. Gore just finished off a successful career with the gelding at this year’s Congress and with a quick change in ownership, Emma Brown is going to finish out showing Thomas in the amateur division.
“Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to watch the many successes of Jennifer Paul, Gavin Patterson, and Emma Gore, showing Ur Ride Has Arrived,” Emma Brown told us. “I grew to love the gorgeous gelding from the very beginning. When the time came that I was ready to look for another horse, Judd, Jennifer, my parents, and I agreed that Thomas would be the perfect fit.”
“I have enjoyed the opportunity to get to show Thomas and contribute to adding success to his show career,” Gore shared with us. “When I started showing Thomas in December, he had only ever shown the trail. I knew ultimately he was always going to be for sale.”Some of Ur Ride Has Arrived’s recent wins include being the 2023 NSBA Reserve World Champion Senior Trail, 2023 NSBA Reserve World Champion BCF Non-Pro 4-6-year-old Trail, 2023 AQHA Bronze Champion Level 3 14-18 Trail, 2022 3rd Congress L1 Junior Trail, 2022 3rd-Congress L2 Junior Trail, and 2022 AQHA Reserve High Point Junior Trail.
“I truly think he is the most stunning horse anytime he walks in the show pen. Thomas has an extremely eye-catching expression and disposition that makes him hard to miss,” Brown told us. “Thomas is just such a sweet boy, always looking for a treat or licking you in the cross ties! He has the best expression, his ears are always up whether he is practicing or in the show pen.” Emma plans on showing him in the Amateur Trail and Horsemanship. “I am over the moon excited to own this special horse and kickstart our showing career! Currently, my goal is to get a lot of saddle time in so that I can grow to know Thomas better,” Brown says. “I’ll still show Brett (Some Hot Potential), but it does give us the opportunity to let him have a well-deserved break. Brett has the biggest heart of any animal I have grown to know and love, and truly has a passion for his job. Show season would not be the same without him, so he will still show at some shows.”
